Checklist
Input Structure

1. Inputs module 2

✓ Transcripts

✓ Matrix

For this module, two inputs are required. The first is the transcripts, which must have the following characteristics:

1. They must have separate labels for “INTERVIEWER:” and “INTERVIEWEES:” ✓ If they are group sessions, the interviewees must be numbered, for example: “INTERVIEWEES 1,” “INTERVIEWEES 2,” etc.

2. The font must be Arial 12 pt.

3. After the labels “INTERVIEWER:” and “INTERVIEWEES:” there should be no space or enter; the label should be followed immediately by a colon and then the intervention.

4. The labels should be in capital letters.

5. The document should not contain any special characters, for example: “#%/&) (=” ...

On the other hand, the matrix must have the following characteristics:

1.  Column A, row 1 must contain the chapters.

2. Column B, row 1 must contain the subchapters.

3. Column C, row 1 must contain the questions.

4. The matrix must not contain any special characters.

5. No questions may be repeated in the questions column.

6. Ensure that there are no questions that may be redundant.

All the tools provided by dipli for formatting and validating these inputs can be found here:

2. Inputs Module 3

✓ Context

✓ Report outline

✓ Matrix with objectives

For this module, two inputs must be prepared and the matrix generated by module 3 must be modified. The first input is the context

Here you must describe the fundamental reason and business problem that motivates the research. Include:

1. PROJECT CONTEXT

Triggering situation: What event or circumstance set off the alarm?

Example: “We want to understand why users stop using our app after two weeks.”

Example: “We have noticed a 15% drop in sales in the premium category and do not know if it is due to price, brand, or competition.”

Connection to hard numbers: If you have figures or statistics, include them.

Example: “40% of potential customers abandon their cart before checkout, representing a 10% loss in annual revenue.”

Category and product context: Briefly describe your company, the product/service involved, and how it differs from the competition.

Example: “We are a healthy beverage startup competing in the functional juice category. Our proposition is no added sugar and local ingredients.”

2. PROJECT OBJECTIVES

What decisions do you expect to make based on the findings?

Here you should connect the research with your strategic decisions or action standards.

Example:

• “Determine whether we should redesign the app's onboarding experience.”

• “Validate whether our current communication is generating the correct perception of value.”

• “Determine whether adjusting prices would affect repurchase intent.”

3. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

Be specific about the information you need to obtain.

Divide the objectives into general and specific ones:

General objective: broad overview of the knowledge you are seeking.

Example: “Explore customer motivations and barriers to use in the category.”

Specific objectives: specific aspects that arise from the general objective.

Example:

o “Identify barriers to use among new and repeat customers.”

o “Explore perceptions about price and promotions.”

o “Validate hypotheses about the messages that generate the most trust.”

4. HYPOTHESES (optional, but recommended)

Propose 2–3 initial hypotheses that you want to validate or refute:

• “We believe that users stop using the app because they don't find value in the premium features.”

• “Consumers perceive our brand as expensive compared to the competition.”

• “Repurchase depends more on availability across channels than on price.”

Note: This content is only recommended. Dipli has the ability to analyze the information you provide; you are the one who sets the limits.

The second input is the report outline or table of contents

This is a document in which you will establish the table of contents you want in your report, that is, the chapters and subchapters that you initially put in your matrix in module 2.

And finally, the third input is the matrix with objectives:

Download the matrix generated by module 2 by clicking on this button on the right side of your card.

In this matrix, you must add a new column before the chapter column, which should be named “Objectives.” Here, you should enter your objectives aligned with the chapters and subchapters to which they relate.

For this module, before uploading your inputs, validate:

•That your context contains as much information as possible that you consider relevant to your research and the results you want to obtain in your report.

•That your report outline has the appropriate structure to serve as the table of contents for your report

• En tThat your matrix for this module 3 has the following structure:

o Column A: Objetives

o Column B: Chapters

o Column C: Subchapters

o Column D: Questions

And in the other columns you will find the answers. This varies depending on the number of transcripts processed. Never leave formatted boxes blank, as the platform will not be able to read them.

Always remember to ensure that the structure of your inputs meets the requirements, so you can achieve better results and optimize your time.
